Tips
for battery removal
1. It's advisable to use two1.5V AAA Batteries.
2. If the batteries voltage is low, the red LED
lamp repeats to flash for 20 times, And then the
tester will turn-off |

| ¢Ê Operations |
 |
1. Press the POWER button.
- Soon after a beep, the LED lamp of the tester
will be lighting
one by one from the green to red
and then red to green for
20 seconds,
This warm-up process prepares the
sensor for testing.
2. When you hear a beep and the green
'Ready' LED lamp is on, place your lips on the
mouhtpiece and blow steadily until it beeps
(two beeps) again
- The tester will automatically tuen-off it
you do not blow within 10 seconds.
3. After you blow, the green LED lamp
will flash for 3 seconds, and then the test
result will be shown with below corresponding
lamp color for 7 seconds with beeps.
< 0.01% : 5 beeps with green LED lamp light-on
>= 0.01% : 7 beeps with yellow 1 LED lamp
light-on
>= 0.03% : 9 beeps with yellow 2 LED lamp
light-on
>= 0.05% : 16 beeps with red 1 LED lamp light-on
>= 0.09% : 25 beeps with red 2 LED lamp light-on
4. Then, it will automatically turn-off
5. To retest, press POWER button again
and repeat procedure
- For accurate results, space tests at least
2 minutes apart.

Warnings |
| 1. For most accurate
results, wait 20 minutes after eating or drinking before blowing
into the tester.
- The CA1000 measures the amount of alcohol in the deep lung
air, Any alcohol, food or smoke in the saliva will interfere
with results.
2. Avoid testing near strong winds or in closed rooms with
poor ventilation.
3. Do not blow cigarette smoke or liquids into the tester.
it will damage the sensor. Wait 2 minutes after smoking before
testing.
4. Although the CA1000 accurately analyzes blood alcohol levels,
it should no be used to deterine if it is safe to drive after
consuming alcohol. There is no safe level of alcohol cousumption
before driving.
5. Keep out of extreme temperatures(Recomended 10¡É~40¡É/32¢µ~104¢µ)
and out of the reach of children.
6. To maintain accurate results, the CA1000 can be recalibrated
every 6~12month. Contact your local distributor for calibration
information. |
